Inspector-General of Police Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said police received seven reports regarding break-ins at business premises during the floods in Selangor.
He said several arrests had been made and 30 teams from the Cantas Squad have been sent to flood-hit areas to stop looting.
He added that those who don't have food or necessities can go to flood operations centres in their areas, as these centres have enough food and supply for flood victims.
