Police have welcomed former defence minister Hishammuddin Hussein's offer to track down fugitive financier Jho Low.
However, inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun declined to speculate on Hishammuddin's motive for doing so.
Asked whether police would call Hishammuddin to record his statements, Fuzi said, "There's no need for that."
