Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has denied that there was any political scheme with the actions of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in seizing Menara Ilham, which belongs to former finance minister Daim Zainuddin.
Anwar added that the MACC should be allowed to carry out their duties and if they had committed the offence or otherwise, let the system and investigation take its course.
He said this when asked about the seizure of Ilham Tower by the MACC yesterday.
