In Malaysia many journalists don't know the very basic principles of journalism said the prime minister's media adviser A Kadir Jasin.
He said the chances of media practitioners being taken to court would be reduced and judges would look favourably towards them if they practiced the right of reply and allow for people defend themselves from criticism.
