Roti canai at Bukit Chagar Roti Canai, 394, Jalan Tengku Azizah, Bukit Chagar, 80300 Johor Bahru, Johor. Open daily 7:00am to 11:00am.

Chee cheong fun at Alley-way market at Jalan Sri Pelangi, Taman Pelangi, Johor Bahru, Johor. Open mornings.

Johor laksa at Restoran Mak Teh, 2, Jalan Baiduri, Taman Kolam Air, 80100 Johor Bahru, Johor. Open 7:00am to 5:00pm.

Pisang goreng (banana fritters) at Pisang Goreng Mawar, Sri Gelam, 80100 Johor Bahru, Johor. Open 10am to 7:00pm. Closed Saturday.

Bak kut teh at Hwa Mei Bak Kut Teh, 146, Jalan Lumba Kuda, Bukit Chagar, 80300 Johor Bahru, Johor. Open 8:30am to 2:00pm and closed Monday.

Banana Cake at Hiap Joo, 13, Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor. Open Monday 12:00pm to 5:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday 7:30am to 5:30pm, closed Sunday.
