Insurgent is coming our way people and we've got the scoop on who will be joining the coveted cast list. Get ready initiates... Insurgent, the sequel to the beloved book-to-movie adaptation, Divergent, is in the works and The Hollywood Reporter has just dropped the news bomb that...drum role please...Suki Waterhouse has been cast to play Marlene! For those who aren't familiar with the storyline, Marlene is a member of the Dauntless faction which is one of the five factions in the world of Divergent that is dedicated to courage, bravery, and fearlessness. Marlene plays a smaller role in the first book when she befriends Tris, played by Shailene Woodley, but becomes a lot more important in the second book. But for those who haven't cracked open the hardback, I'll put a lock on this hole in my face and not give anything away. So who is this Suki Waterhouse, you may be wondering? Suki is an actress and model who also has the privilege of calling Bradley Cooper her boo. In more cast member news, we've also heard that Jonny Weston, whom you may know from the Gerard Butler film, Chasing Mavericks, is in negotiations to hop on the film bandwagon as well, but it has yet yet to be confirmed which role he will fulfill.
