Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has expressed confidence that his wing's proposed candidate for the Mahkota state seat will be the best among all to be considered by the party's top leadership.

Commenting on the appeal made by Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's daughter Nurulhidayah for Wanita Umno to contest the seat, Akmal stressed the issue is not about who has made the request, but rather about winnability.
