Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin has described the action of an Umno leader asking party members to support DAP in the upcoming state elections as “unusual”.
The Pagoh MP said the request went against Umno’s principles and that it should be up to the members whether to respond to the call or not.
“This is quite unusual. I used to be in Umno for almost 40 years and this is the first time I heard one of its leaders asking the members to support DAP," he said.
