Semenyih voter Yaakob Mat Isin told reporters today that he has never missed an opportunity to vote in elections since the 1950s.
Yaakob, who appeared cheerful on polling day, said he required help from election workers due to issues with his legs.
There are 54,503 eligible voters in Semenyih, which mostly consists of suburbs and some rural areas to the south of Selangor bordering Negeri Sembilan.
Approximately 68 percent of the electorate are Malays, followed by the Chinese (16.7 percent) and Indians (13.8 percent).
