Remember those assault allegations FaZe Banks made against Jake Paul? Well, thanks to Shane Dawson’s docuseries, Jake is now responding.
Come on, you guys… if you’re not watching the docuseries, what ARE you doing?!
Wow. So, if you’re clued into all the YouTube Drama, and especially the drama that involves Jake Paul, you already know that he’s had beef with quite a few influencers in the past. Well, in the latest installment of Shane Dawson’s docuseries, The Mind of Jake Paul, Jake addressed these feuds directly, particularly his tiff with FaZe Banks.
TOSS: (13:38-13:50)
To refresh your memory, in August of 2017 Jake accused FaZe of assaulting his assistant. Following Jake’s allegations, FaZe took to YouTube to deny that an assault ever took place. Of course, the situation was only made more complicated by the fact that FaZe was dating Alissa Violet, who happened to be Jake’s ex-girlfriend.
FaZe called Jake’s allegations against him, QUOTE, “defamation of character and slander to the highest degree,” and he even said he would have to take legal action against him. That’s not all, though. FaZe also made allegations in return, claiming that Jake assaulted Alissa and Erika Costell, which Erika said never happened.
TOSS: (15:08-15:12)
Well, as we all know, there are three sides to every story, and thanks to this new docuseries, Jake just got real about what exactly went down between him, FaZe and Alissa.
TOSS: (15:23-15:32)
That’s right, you guys. According to Jake, FaZe and Alissa made those assault allegations to make him look bad, and as a result, he said he lost 300,000 subscribers on his account.
If you watched the latest installment of the docuseries, it was VERY clear that, while he wanted to clear the air about the situation, the FaZe drama was something that he didn’t really want to talk about, and honestly, there’s STILL a lot we still don’t know about what exactly went down.
So what do you guys think? Did the docuseries change your mind about Jake? Do you believe that the allegations FaZe and Alissa made against him were true?
