Besar Umno Division Chief Jamal Md Yunos laments that despite the offering enticing prizes up for grabs in a lucky draw during the campaign trail leading up to the 14th General Elections, the Barisan Nasional candidate for the state seat of Sekinchan was unable to secure a victory against Pakatan Harapan.
Yesterday evening while on the campaign trail for the Sg. Kandis by-election, Jamal says that he could have easily put prizes such as a BMW car up for grabs to draw a bigger crowd.
However, he said that if he did such a thing, people would come not to show their support and listen to the ceramah but to instead try their luck at winning a prize.
