Police have released Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos a day before his remand was set to expire.
Jamal was released at the Shah Alam district police headquarters at about 7.30pm on Saturday.
The Red Shirts leader was nabbed in the wee hours of Friday, following his beer bottle-smashing stunt outside the Selangor state secretariat office on Thursday morning.
