Big Love actress, Chloe Sevigny declares that she is not a Jennifer Lawrence fan… Are you serious??? We’ve got it all right now!
Jennifer Lawrence is arguable one of the most liked and looked up to young actresses in Hollywood right now, but Chloe is not a passenger on the J-Law train.
In a recent interview promoting her upcoming memoir, Chloe told V-Magazine that she finds Jennifer Lawrence QUOTE - “annoying and crass.” A one-two punch for sure.
So first she dropped those two bombs, which were then followed by a couple more hits. Sevigny continued saying QUOTE – “So much [today] is about marketing and selling the product. They’ll have a really peppy funny girl on the talk show rounds, and everybody adores her and loves her and wants to be her or f**k her, and then so many more people want to watch the movie or TV show.”
I actually don’t really see what’s wrong with that… Of course people want to watch someone who’s likeable… It’s basic TV physics. But some are saying that THIS comment was directed to Jennifer Lawrence… In a not so sweet way, because of the somewhat general description of an actress that everyone loves and how it all ties back to marketing. But no one can technically say for sure who Sevigny was referring to because Jennifer’s name was not inserted into the claim.
And although Sevigny may not be the biggest J-Law fan, that bittersweet feeling is not universal because she then told V Magazine QUOTE - “I think Angelina Jolie is a great movie star. I like Emma Stone. Whenever she’s herself, she’s really cute.”
So see… Chloe doesn’t hate on everyone, just throws minimal shade at J-Law. ------Everyone needs a little shade once in a while though. You know, I’m not tryin’ to get sunburned.
But wait, I’m sorry Chloe. Imma let you finish, but in 2015 who the frickin frack are you? If you’re gunna come at someone like J-Law, you may want to still be relevant. Don’t get me wrong, Chloe isn’t a nobody. She was somewhat of a fashion icon back in the day, and was nominated for an Academy Award, and won a Golden Globe so… RESPECT... But sometimes if you don’t have anything nice to say… Don’t say anything at all… Bambi reference anyone??
So J-Law has yet to respond to Chloe’s comments and if history serves us correctly, I don’t see her responding publicly or in any way that concerns the public, since we know that’s not really her style…. Privacy respected.
