So if you’re ‘hungry’ to know what it’s like filming the action-packed series with Jen, Liam, Josh and Willow, hold tight because they’re about to reveal EVERYTHING.
The Mockingjay Part II panel, that was held earlier today at ComiCon, kicked off on a high note as fans received the very first look at the films full trailer. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson joined Conan O’brien, who did the honors in playing the clip. Take a look:
We won’t spoil anything major, but in the final installment, you can expect even more fighting, but also a celebration as we’ve been teased that Finnick is getting married this time around. Phillip Seymour Hoffman also makes his final debut in the film, in which is seen in the trailer.
During the Q&A, the cast revealed their best memories, what they’ll miss the most and what to expect.
Jen started off by revealing her all-time favorite onscreen moment as Katniss. Can you guess what she said?
Us, too, Jen… Us, too! Josh then gives fans a glimpse of what’s to come for Peeta, by saying they can expect a long road to recovery, but even more surprising than that, Willow Shields reveals that QUOTE, “Prim is there for Katniss more than Katniss has been there for Prim.”
And whether you were team Gale or team Peeta, Liam Hemsworth promises fans a great scene between the two. And just if you were wondering, Liam has the best advice for his character:
And with that, I will gladly volunteer as tribute for you, Gale! But as the last day of filming came to a close, Jennifer recalls holding her cast mates and sleeping like puppies. She even told the audience that while filming the epilogue, she cried thinking of wrapping the film, even though they had the entire movie to shoot. And keep the tissues coming, because then Josh was asked what he will miss most about filming, and after his reply was QUOTE, “you’re looking at it,” while looking at his cast mates, we literally lost all of our cool.
And Katniss fans rejoice, because Jen is not forgetting her character any time soon. When asked how she said goodbye to Katniss, she said she'll never say goodbye and that it'll always be a part of her.
