Joe Jonas has sure come a long way since he and his friendly ex Demi Lovato’s Camp Rock days, but one thing hasn’t changed over the years: their unbreakable bond.
Now if only ALL Hollywood exes could take some helpful pointers from Demi and Joe, because breakups as smooth as this one are a dime a dozen.
The Disney days may not have gone as smooth as planned for a star-in-the-making like Demi Lovato, but they were responsible for the relationship-turned-best-friendship of Demi and The Jonas brothers.
Ahh, yes, ALL those Camp Rock feels! The DNCE front-runner recently gushed about his special bond with Demi, especially being in such a difficult industry like the entertainment world, saying QUOTE, “She's family. We've known Demi for so many years. We're performed with her, toured with her. She's just incredible. I don't think of her as an ex. We're really good friends. We've gone through so much together and we're really close now.”
But Joe isn’t the only JoBro who’s formed a meaningful friendship with Demi. He opened up to Billboard Magazine about how close he and his younger brother Nick Jonas are to the singer, saying, “You'd think they're siblings, sometimes more than Nick and I. They pick on each other, they play games... Demi’s a great listener, and she keeps Nick smiling. She’ll always make a serious situation laughable. So, they’ve found great support with one another and they lean on each other creatively.”
Joe even revealed that he admires Demi for being so outspoken and authentic, saying, “She’s the best version of herself I’ve ever known. She’s amazing at speaking truth to what she believes. I wish I could have a bit more of that. Excuse my language, but she doesn’t give a fuck. She goes out there and says, ‘This is who I am.’”
But speaking of being the best version of oneself, I will leave you all off with a little shirtless treat courtesy of Joe Jonas, who’s clearly been workin’ on his fitness. He took to Instagram to share his new ‘photo-shoot’ ready bod, with a side of serious six-pack, but don’t worry, Joe insists that he is NOT in competition with Nick, saying, “For us, we're both pretty healthy and active and train quite a bit so we do our best to make sure we stay on it.”
