Today's visit to the peat fire site at Johan Setia, Klang peat land; In 2014, the worst hit areas from peat fires were housing estates bordering Kampung Johan Setia in Shah Alam/Klang. These include Bandar Botanic, Bandar Puteri, Kota Kemuning and Bukit Rimau; local authorities received various complaints from residents in these areas regarding the thick smoke visible from Jalan Banting; local residents advised that the fires and the resulting smoky haze has been occurring in the vicinity periodically for about 7 years.
