Umno's Second Finance Minister Johari Abdul Ghani, who is expected to defend his parliamentary seat in the coming general election, appears unfazed by an alleged movement from within his own party to sabotage his bid to defend the Titiwangsa seat.
On Tuesday, Titiwangsa Umno and several NGOs have lodged a police report seeking a probe into the defamatory remarks made against Johari.
However, Titiwangsa Umno grassroots has denied that “insiders” were involved in an attempt to remove Johari.
