John Mayer responds to Katy Perry ranking him as her best lover, and he doesn’t seem too thrilled.

John Mayer is not about to repeat past mistakes and comment on his sex life, even if it is in response to an ex’s flattering remarks.
During her appearance on The Late Late Show earlier this month, James Corden asked Katy Perry to rank three of her exes in bed from worst to best during his “Spill Your Guts Or Fill Your Guts Segment”. Faced with the consequence of eating a 1,000 year old egg if she didn’t answer, Katy begrudgingly answered the question, calling Diplo the worst of the three, Orlando the second best, and John Mayer the best. Katy and John dated on and off from 2012 to 2015, and both have admitted that their relationship was a hard one to break off.
Rolling Stone has since asked John about Katy ranking him her best lover of those three exes, and the singer-songwriter carefully replied QUOTE, “I don’t have a cool-enough thought for you. I’ve hacked this game. I pay very little of the price of fame now. I get to play the music that moves me the most. I’m having the time of my life. I’m 39 — I remember 32. I don’t wanna do it again.”
John is probably referring to the fact that the last time he made comments about his exes love-making skills in an interview--like calling Jessica Simpson QUOTE, “sexual napalm” once--he was completely dragged through the media. John has clearly learned since those experiences of negative press and is keeping more of a “loose lips sink ships” mentality these days--probably for the best. That being said, there’s no way he’s not a little bit flattered, right?
