Johor state executive councilor Abd Latiff Bandi was brought for further remand in a JB magistrate's court to probe on bumiputera property scandal.
This came after Abd Latiff was arrested yesterday and a MACC raid of his house found cash, a luxury car and some 150 branded bags.
Despite the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers ferrying him to the court at 9am, the Endau assemblyperson was escorted by eight officers 90 minute later.
Abd Latiff was in orange lock-up uniform and faced the camera. He was not handcuffed.
He was greeted by some 11 supporters along his journey to the magistrate's court. A supporter hugged him and both of them kissed each other's cheek.
After Abd Latiff entered the court, his supporters started to pray.
