Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Sahruddin Jamal will lead the charge as Pakatan Harapan's elections director for the Tanjung Piai by-election in the state.
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that after chairing the Johor Pakatan meeting on Friday, adding that so far, the expectation was that Bersatu would be contesting the seat as per GE14.
Asked about the candidate, Muhyiddin said it was not discussed at the meeting, but they had a few names in mind.
