Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar said that the defence lawyers for the two accused in the murder of Kim Jong-nam need to officially apply through the courts for materials related to the case.
Earlier today the lawyers for the two accused Siti Aishah and Doan Thi Huong had claimed that they did not get access to documents and materials such as the CCTV recordings.
Khalid said that the police have always cooperated with counsels in cases in terms of providing documents and this case was not being singled out.
