Attention people of the world, As of last night, Justin Bieber has officially returned to his rightful home on the stage. Bieber’s Purpose world tour kicked off yesterday and we’ve got you covered with all the highlights.
Justin Bieber touring again is a pretty big deal and according to the first round of Seattle concert goers, it was a triumphant return.
Now for those of you who plan on attending the concert or already have tickets, I’m warning you know that I’m about to drop some spoilers so if you want to be completely surprised…watch this without sound so we still get the views. So because this marks Bieber’s big return, the show is chuck full of really cool metaphors. Like the show kicks off with Justin rising from underneath stage and suspended in the air in this giant glass cube as a metaphor for being on display in the public eye, like a fish bowl situation, and he dramatically writes “mark my words” with a heart on the wall of the box before the music magic begins. Deep right?
There’s another intense moment during the third song of the show, which I won’t tell you what specific song it is so you have some surprises to look forward to, where he is trapped under this steel cage with legit chaos swirling around him. And when I say chaos, I’m talking whirlwinds, firestorms, like it’s full on Dorothy plunging into Oz as Bieber says QUOTE – “I’ve had a couple rough years, but what I think you should tell people when they don’t say you can make it is, I’ll show you. Don’t forget that I’m human, don’t forget that I’m real.”
Then of course, what’s a Bieber concert without tons of dance breaks and acrobatics? So that happens and he keeps the fan pleasing going with an acoustic set, including “Love Yourself” and then puts his multi-talents to good use with a drum solo. You know, all the Bieber essentials basically.
But then guys, get this, there’s a trampoline. And not like a baby trampoline, but a big flippin’ bouncer that he flips and Biebers on. It’s a verb now. So get pumped for that and the dancing gets even better at one point when there’s a section of partner choreography that’s some serious So You Think You Can Dance level of technique. And to top it all off, Bieber literally makes it rain. We’re talking water falling from the sky, like defying the laws of physics indoor rain. It’s pretty cool. And he’s like Calvin Klein status half naked at some points in the show, so congratulations. But to prep you for what you should memorize and prepare, I’ll tell you he performs 20 songs including “Mark My Words, What Do You Mean, Love Yourself, Where Are You Know, The Feeling, I’ll Show You, Sorry, Company, Life Is Worth Living, and some of the classics including Boyfriend, Baby, and As Long As You Love Me.
In other words, if you’re a Belieber, you’re not going to want to miss this and get ready Vancouver, because Justin’s Purpose tour is coming your way tonight.
