Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are apparently taking a break from their relationship and our Jelena hearts are breaking.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber may be taking a break, but they’re not broken up just yet.
It’s been five months since we saw Justin Bieber leaving Selena Gomez’s house when she was still dating The Weeknd. It didn’t take long for Selena and The Weeknd to split and for Justin to step back into his role as Selena’s bae. Ever since they’ve reunited it has felt like we’re back in 2011 and we’re not complaining.
They have been doing tons of normal couple things like riding bikes, going to church and attending weddings together. The only difference between them and us is that there are millions of people watching their every move and waiting for some form of official confirmation that they’re in love.
On JB’s birthday we did get a little peek into their relationship when Selena Instagramed the cutest pic in honor of the singer turning 24. We have loved seeing them back together and it truly shows that people can grow and mature over time and that sometimes second chances are necessary.
Unfortunately the duo’s relationship has apparently hit a rough patch and the two have decided to take a break. An insider told E! news that Selena and Justin QUOTE “were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight in particular blew up and caused them to decide to 'break up,' however, they've been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed."
Did you hear that? That was the sound of our Jelena hearts getting a little crack in them. We feel like we have seen this couple go through EVERYTHING together and we definitely want to see them live happily ever after.
Thankfully the source added that QUOTE “They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other."
Phew. At least they’re not officially broken up and there’s still hope for yet another reunion. We’re just hoping that this break doesn’t turn into a Ross and Rachel situation from Friends.
