And a total Throwback Thursday it is indeed, after the Biebs performed 3 of his old hits, including an acoustic version of “Baby” and we have officially RIPed of pure Bieber bliss.
The New York weather forecast is in and it was most definitely raining men this morning (or should I say one HOT man) as the rain did not stop Justin from stopping by The Today Show and closing out the Summer concert series. He performed 5 of his songs, like his 2010 track “As Long As You Love Me” and his recently released #1 hit “What Do You Mean?” Take a look:
In between songs, the crowd was reminded about Justin becoming the youngest male artist to debut at No.1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, and in return, the poncho-bearing fans were heard chanting things like “Bieber is Back!”
But a No.1 hit wasn’t all Justin debuted this morning. Apparently with a brand new comeback, comes a brand new hairdo. JB unveiled long bleach-blonde locks under his hat and seeing that the crowd went WILD when he asked what they thought about it, we’re gonna take that as a seal of approval.
And post-performance, Justin hustled back into the Today Show studio to chat with the morning hosts where he explained his slight leave of absence was his way of taking time to “do some soul-searching.” He also explained the reason for his recent heap of emotions saying QUOTE, “It just feels so great to feel the acceptance, and it shows that they’re for me and not against me. You always go into situations, especially me now, where you just feel judged, and it’s hard but I’m feeling more confident lately.”
He was also asked if he would be willing to perform at the Superbowl, where he replied, “I’d be interested!” Did you hear that NFL SUPERBOWL HALFTIME SHOW PICKERS?! Ya boy is officially available!
