Justin Bieber's Mom RAVES About Selena Gomez & Talks Jelena Reunion

Justin Bieber says his mom likes everyone, and luckily, Selena Gomez is among those people.
Turns out, Justin’s mom is a Jelena fan, too!
While Selena Gomez’s family was reportedly furious when they found out she was back together with Justin Bieber, his mom feels just the opposite. Pattie Mallette (Muh-lette) attended the Justice Speaks Holiday Benefit Lunch in Los Angeles over the weekend and you know reporters had to get the details about her son’s recently rekindled relationship with the “Wolves” singer.
While the 41-year-old didn’t have much information about the on-again couple, she did have nothing but good things to say about Selena and their personal bond.
She told People magazine QUOTE “I don’t know so much about their personal relationship because he doesn’t share a whole lot, but I love her. I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her, and I’ve met her and we have a special bond so I think she’s precious. I can’t really speak on their relationship, that’s between them.”
Pattie also couldn’t help but rave about Justin, who she recently started close with again.
She said QUOTE “I think he’s just keeping his focus on God, and really trying to figure out what counts and what matters. I think he’s trying to be somehow normal in such an abnormal world, trying to find that balance. I feel like he’s growing up and I’m really proud of him.”
Back in 2015, Justin explained that his relationship with his mom was QUOTE “pretty nonexisting” at the time.
He explained to Billboard magazine QUOTE "I was distant because I was ashamed. I never wanted my mom to to be disappointed in me and I knew she was. We spent some time not talking, so it takes time to rebuild that trust. She’s living in Hawaii now, so it’s hard, but getting better. She’s an amazing woman and I love her."
Justin and Pattie have been working on getting their closeness back over the last couple years, and seeing as the pair attended this weekend’s event together, it’s pretty obvious that they’ve been succeeding.
Selena might still be working to get her family on board with Jelena 2.0, but at least we know that Justin’s mom is supportive. Are you glad Pattie accepts Justin and Selena’s rekindled romance?
