Emotions ran high in Dewan Rakyat today after Batu Kawan MP Kasthuri Patto asked Deputy Education Minister P Kamalanathan to resign for allegedly failing to make sure the funds allocated for Tamil schools were properly channelled.
Kamalanathan replied that only Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and the MIC president were in the position to decide his future in the government.
Kapar MP G Manivannan said voters will ultimately determine the deputy minister's future.
