"Kapchai" riders treated to free petrol in Segambut

Motorcyclists in Segambut were treated to RM5 worth of free petrol earlier today as the Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng supplied free petrol to 1,000 motorists who showed up with underbone "kapchai" motorcycles at the Segambut Luar Petron fuel station.
Lim told Malaysiakini that this was an effort to show that unlike "ministers and senior government officials who sit in big cars", the opposition is concerned about motorists who use underbone bikes as their daily driver.
This is in response to Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor who announced plans to ban underbone motorcycles from entering the city when public transport becomes more affordable.
