Katy Perry Explains WHY She Ended Her Calvin Harris Feud

For those of you who need a refresher on what happened between these two let me break it down for you. Back in 2011, Katy and Calvin got into it because he was originally supposed to join her on her California Dreams tour but cancelled last minute because he had issues with production. Katy let the world know exactly what was going on by tweeting - "Calvin Harris will NOT be joining in on the fun and has CANCELLED last minute.” Calvin replied saying - "Sorry to all who wanted to see me with Katy – her team suddenly moved the goalposts and I was to appear on stage with no production.” Aka he thought the production was too small for him. Katy then fired back saying - "The goalpost seems to be perfectly fine for New Young Pony Club, Yelle, Robyn, Marina & The Diamonds, to name a few.”
But they have since reconciled their differences. Katy’s featured on Calvin’s track “Feels” alongside Pharrell and Big Sean. And in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, Katy explained how the reconciliation between them happened saying QUOTE - "I saw Calvin at [the] Vanity Fair Oscar party. We just bumped into each other and he said, ‘I think I have a song that you should come check out.’ We had always meant to work together for years and years and years and we’d had little falling outs here and there … we had some Twitter spats … and it was time to put that behind us. … He played this one part of "Feels" and I was like, ‘Oh yeah.’ This is like my favorite song off the record. I was just down to do it. I've always wanted to collaborate with him for years and years and years."
And the rest is history. Looks like music really does bring people together. Also doesn’t hurt if you have common enemy. Dare I say that maybe Katy and Taylor should just do a song together to squash their beef once and for all?
