Katy Perry Gives BEST Breakup Advice

When it comes to moving on after a heartbreaking breakup, Katy Perry has the best advice for those who are having second thoughts.
Sometimes, it’s just better to save certain messages as a draft.
Getting out of a relationship and going through a breakup is probably one of the hardest things to do and sometimes, you just wanna reach out to that person and patch things up or maybe even get back together. But according to KP, some things are just better left unsaid.
In a chat with Delilah Rene of the podcast ‘Conversations with Delilah,’ Katy chatted about her single ‘Save as Draft’ and how that very saying – and option – has been her saving grace during some of her low relationship points.
Katy said QUOTE, “I’ve been in that cycle before in a relationship and it had kind of reignited the relationship, and there’s only so many times you can reignite the relationship or want to or should and sometimes you just need to write it and never send it. It’s just that exercise – that cathartic exercise.”
Katy’s love life has played out in the press multiple times and the one thing she’s learned from her past mistakes, it’s sometimes you just QUOTE, “shouldn’t press send.” Katy Kat went on to say QUOTE, “It’s like a lesson in self-control. I like drafting and then sleeping on it because, for me, my emotions get very heightened in the evening [and] then in the morning when I wake up I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m so glad I didn’t send that! I can get through another day without this situation.”
Since we’re on the topic of relationships, it’s time to debunk a rumor that has been floating around ever since Katy and her good friend Robert Pattinson were spotted having dinner together. Although Katy IS single and probably ready to mingle, everyone can just calm down because Katy isn’t mingling with Rob.
In fact, the two were having dinner with a large group of friends not long ago and according to Page Six’s source, it was JUST a friendly dinner and that “it certainly wasn’t any kind of date, as has been insinuated.” Well, there you have it. Besides, Rob is still technically with FKA Twigs, sooo yeah.
