Katy Perry made an off-hand comment at the Grammys that had many wondering if she purposely threw shade at Britney Spears.
Oops…she kinda did that??
When it comes to insensitive remarks, Katy had them on lock down on the Grammys red carpet. The ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ singer put her foot in her mouth not once, but TWICE on the carpet when she talked about her hairstyles. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the host made a comment about how Katy has returned after being on a musical hiatus – which the singer called taking care of her mental health, but what she said after didn’t really sit well with many.
That last comment about not shaving her head rubbed quite a few people the wrong way and was seen as a dig towards Britney Spears and her public meltdown back in 2007 when she shaved her head.
The OTHER comment Katy made was in a completely different interview where she talked about having every single color on the color spectrum as her hair color and that the only thing she has yet to do – hair-wise – is shave it off.
Making light of mental health issues is definitely not cool, but I want to hear from you guys.
