Pakatan Harapan’s Simpang Renggam candidate Maszlee Malik has apologised for generalising and offending Umno supporters.

This was after his altercation with the two angry men who accused him of being a lying politician.

He explained that one of the men involved in the incident is the Sungai Rinai’s village chief and a strong Umno supporter.

He added that despite the village chief and the other person being strong Umno supporters, they do not represent all Umno members.
