So take this mantra as a lesson for you all, what happens on the Internet, most definitely ALWAYS stays on the Internet.
We all know the torture of looking back at old Myspace photos and cringing at the sight of that horrible hair-cut, that first attempt at makeup (specifically that baby blue eye shadow) and those epic dance videos. OHHHH THE VIDEOS.
So just when you thought you’d never escape the torturous reminders that you once starred in your own lip sync dance video to “Oops I Did It Again”, here’s a quick reminder that even unobtainable celebs like Kendall and Kylie Jenner once had the same idea as you.
TBT apparently came a few days early and we are totally fine with it, because this video starring Kendall, Kylie and their two besties they recruited is giving us life. The video that was uploaded in 2010, and features the foursome lip syncing and awkward-dancing to Taylor Swift’s 2010 hit “Better Than Revenge” around the not-yet-built Kardashian/Jenner estate.
The video ends how every 2000’s video ends, as the girls suddenly wake up from a “dream” they were having because who in their right mind would EVER star in a real-live music video while conscious?
SO WEIRD, RIGHT?! They even went above and beyond to create a blooper video and it’s almost as embarrassing as the original, but hey, we’ve all been here before.
But times haven’t changed all that much for the sisters. Kylie obviously took her music video skills to the big leagues as she’s been in a few of her boyfriend Tyga’s music videos, and Kendall spends some of her days as an actual member of T-Swift’s squad. So here’s to hoping Taylor someday gets her hands on this gem, because if she did we’re almost positive her thoughts would be something along the lines of…
