Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said young Malaysians should stop believing that it was just rainbows and butterflies when Dr Mahathir Mohamad was prime minister.
Khairy told the Umno Youth general assembly in the Putra World Trade Centre today, that the idea of Mahathir's fairy tale Malaysia is a myth.
Harapan and Mahathir, Khairy said, were banking on nostalgia to win over the public in the 14th general election (GE14).
However, he said not everything was good during the Mahathir-era.
