Khairy Jamaluddin received an enthusiastic welcome as he returned to Umno headquarters today — two years after being expelled from the party.
The former Umno Youth chief was invited by current Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh to speak at a forum titled “Reforming the Education System in the Age of AI and Empowering the Teaching Profession”, held at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.
Akmal said he dared to invite Khairy because he believed in putting the “future of Umno” first.
