The megastar was invited to be in Carine Roitfield’s recurring magazine CR Fashion book. The theme of the 11th issue of the magazine is the year 1999 – one of Roitfeld’s favorite years in fashion. "I think right now a lot of people are looking back to this period of time. Not only to find references or get ideas, but to see who they were—how good they were—and hopefully see who they can be again." Roitfeld said in a statement. Can we just BE Kim Kardashian though? As always Kim looked super dope and channeled Pamela Anderson and Lil Kim for her photos in the book exclusively obtained from E! News. This first photo is of Kim looking flawless as always in front of the Hollywood sign wearing a white scoop corset, white pants, and a pink animal pink trimmed hat. Kim is paying homage to Pam Anderson’s unforgettable getup at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. In Kim’s second photo she dons a totally different look and SLAYS in a fur coat, bra and underwear and snakeskin boots. This ensemble looks just like the one Lil Kim wore to the 1999 Tommy Hilfiger Rock Style Exhibition. Can we just talk about the fact that Kim looks unreal in pink hair. Let’s be honest though, Kim could make a trash bag look cool. She seriously has us googling outfits from 1999. Kim K isn’t the only person being featured in the 1999 fashion book, some other celebs include Lily- Rose Depp, Lara Stone, and the late Prince.
