Kim Kardashian West just changed the shopping game in the BEST way possible.
If you absolutely need to find the exact outfit that Kim K wore within the last week for your own wardrobe, there’s an app for that.
As all you shopping addicts may know, there are a TON of apps and websites out in the world that help keep your shopping game strong, but KKW recently launched one with New York-based startup named Craze and it will literally blow. Your. Mind. The app in question? Well, it’s called ‘Screenshop,’ and it basically allows us normies to take a screenshot of an outfit – worn by your favorite celeb or not – and basically shop exact or almost identical items that fit your budget. Genius, right?!
Kim K opened up to Mashable about collaborating with Craze on this “Shazam for fashion”-like app and she wants people to know that she’s not just endorsing this new application. She’s really, really invested in it. Kim said QUOTE, “It’s not like I found this app and am endorsing it, I really have this investment in it. And we really just have such a great relationship, and I’m so excited to for people to see this technology, because I’ve never seen it anywhere before. The fact that you can screenshot anything and instantly have a digital fashion store where you can buy the entire outfit basically, or similar to, is really groundbreaking.” Groundbreaking indeed.
I guess it’s time to say goodbye to the days of having to manually browse websites like Polyvore, Where To Get It or Steal Her Style to well, steal your fave’s style, because Kim K just made inspo-shopping super easy.
In case anyone has any doubts on how big ScreenShop’s clothing database is, according to Buzzfeed News the company has partnered with roughly 460 brands to help users find the perfect match. These brands range from ASOS, TopShop, Boohoo.com, Kanye West’s Yeezy fashion line, Forever 21, Saks Fifth Avenue, just to name a few and to give you an idea of the price range you’ll be dealing with when using Screenshop.
