Kim Kardashian's CHANGING Her Look Due To Law School & Kids!

For years, Kim Kardashian West has been known as one of the sexiest celebs in Hollywood but if you’ve noticed that she’s toned down her sexy image lately, you’re right and there’s a very valid reason.
What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and it looks like Kim K is having a fashion evolution.
While we’ve been used to seeing bikini shots and skin tight dresses on Kim for years, things have changed recently.
And believe it or not, this may just be the beginning.
In a recent interview with New York Magazine, Kim opened up about how she’s changed how she feels about the image she portrays and the influence her kids have had on her style.
She talked about how basically everyone on IG was sharing revealing pics and how she couldn’t let her kids see her phone.
Kim said quote, “I have kind of had this awakening myself. I realized I could not even scroll through Instagram in front of my kids without full nudity coming up on my feed pretty much all the time.”
And Kim is aware that she was a part of this trend for a while.
She said quote, “And I definitely contributed to that. I mean, one of my most iconic covers was the Paper Magazine one, when I was all oiled up and ripping my dress off.”
In 2018 Kim even admitted she’s naked most of the time!
But Kim also said that where she’s at in her career has also shifted her image.
She said quote, “I also did think, like, Okay, I'm here in the White House and then the next day I was posting, like, a crazy bikini selfie. And I was thinking, I hope they don't see this. I have to go back there next week.”
And while Kim is definitely still considered a sex symbol by a lot of people, she said that she has mixed feelings about that.
She said quote, “It can be complicated. I definitely see the things that I brought on myself, the biggest being the robbery. Just being flashy and oversharing my every move on social media. But I enjoy my life. Someone said to me the other day, 'What is it like being you?' It’s awesome.”
And these days, Kim is less focused on materialistic needs.
Instead, her priorities are balancing her family, her businesses, and studying to become a lawyer. And Kim said that it was the 2017 Paris robbery that shifted her mindset.
It forced her to focus on what really matters in life.
She said quote, “I truly think once I got robbed it took something out of me in the best way. All the things that really mattered to me then deeply — how many bags I had, what car I drove…I still like all that stuff, but it doesn't matter. It could go away. For so long, people have tried to partner me with things. But this was the first thing where I thought, You know what? I want to go to law school. I want to help people.”
Kim also added that quote, “Let me work for the next ten years and build up my brands, and then one day, in ten years, just give up being Kim K. and become a lawyer. And now I've come to a realization about what I care about. No publicist would have ever told me to get into prison reform.”
Truly, never underestimate Kim, she’s always surprising us!
Kim also said that letting go of this image is helping her live in the moment more and actually enjoy where she is, rather than thinking about getting content.
She said quote, “I don’t care to take the time out of my day on vacation like I used to, where I’d pull up to the house and I’d see, ‘This is a setup. This is an Instagram pic. Now this is a different setup. Oh, this place has so many different setups. This is going to be amazing.’ Now I’m just like, 'Let’s actually live in real time and enjoy it. If we happen to get a photo, great.’”
And I completely appreciate that. That’s a great way to live. I think we could all try to lean into being present a little more.
I can’t help but wonder if Kim’s husband Kanye West also has anything to do with the shift in her image.
This New York Magazine article comes just a couple weeks after an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians showed Kanye disapproving of her sexy 2019 Met Gala outfit.
He explained that he doesn’t like her showing off her body, saying quote, “You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy.”
