Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah performed the Friday prayers at the Putra Mosque, accompanied by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa, among others.
A special sermon titled “Loyalty to King and Country” in conjunction with the installation of His Majesty as the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong on July 30, was delivered by the Grand Imam of the National Mosque, Tan Sri Syaikh Ismail Muhammad.
