Thousands attended the “Save Jerusalem” rally at the Putrajaya mosque this afternoon, where Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak declared that he will never sacrifice the sanctity of Islam to preserve his ties with ‘good friend’ United States President Donald Trump.
The rally was to protest the United States decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine, with Trump threatening to cut off financial aid to countries that voted against them on the matter during a United Nations assembly.
