UMNO Secretary-General Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor echoed Prime Minister Najib today, saying that the government will take over the proposed amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 first brought by PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang in a private members bill.
