[KiniNews] Election watchdog Bersih has accused both Pakatan Harapan and BN of breaking their promises twice since the general election regarding the appointment of Election Commission members.

According to Bersih executive director Ooi Kok Hin, the two coalitions pledged that key EC appointments would undergo review by a parliamentary committee.

However, Bersih claims that the government has appointed two EC members without an open and transparent process.
