[KiniNews] Over 100 PKR divisions have lodged police reports against Najib Abdul Razak this morning to urge the authority to investigate the former premier over his decision to terminate annual payment to the heirs of the Sulu sultanate.
This came after the decision resulted in the heirs dragging Malaysia to an arbitration process, which saw a French court ordering the country to pay US$14.92 billion (RM62.59 billion) compensation.
PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli told Malaysiakini that at least 140 PKR divisions
nationwide have agreed to lodge police reports at their respective locations as of last night.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, Najib has joined the opposition bench in supporting calls for the Dewan Rakyat to debate the arbitration award which favoured the alleged descendants of the Sulu sultanate.
However, unlike the opposition MPs, Najib wanted the government to explain the 22-month Pakatan Harapan administration's handling of the matter.
