Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said today that there was no urgency in carrying out a cabinet reshuffle as there was only one vacancy.

Anwar also indicated that there was nothing out of the ordinary in his meeting with Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah today

Meanwhile PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang and four others in the party's central leadership line-up will retain their positions in the upcoming election for the 2023-2025 term.
This follows the end of nominations from all 197 divisions nationwide, ahead of the party's 69th annual muktamar next month, which will be held concurrently with its internal polls.
