[KiniNews] Crackhouse Comedy Club owner Rizal Van Geyzel, who came under scrutiny recently over videos of his comedic performance, has been slapped with three charges under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act (CMA).
Rizal pleaded not guilty to all three charges at the Kuala Lumpur Cyber Crime Court this morning before judge Nor Hasniah Ab Razak.
Meanwhile, in a separate development, the government’s debt now stands at RM1.045 trillion or 63.8 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) as of June this year.
Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz in a written response to Karupaiya Mutusami (Pakatan Harapan-Padang Serai) said that RM43.1 billion, or 18.4 percent, of Putrajaya’s estimated total revenue, was allocated for the federal government’s debt service charges for 2022.
