[KiniNews] A battle is raging in Malaysia over the World Press Freedom Index between Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil and Bersatu leader Wan Saiful Wan Jan.
This is over Wan Saiful's criticism that Malaysia ranked at 107 fared worse than Israel at 101.
Wan Saiful had blamed Fahmi for the decline of the ranking after Malaysia dropped 34 places since last year.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, police have arrested a man in his 20s over yesterday's acid attack against national football player Faisal Halim.
Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan said they are set to acquire a remand order against the suspect today.
