Putrajaya has announced a comprehensive economic recovery plan which will involve wage subsidies, upskilling, tax holidays for investors, grants, and other incentives.

In a televised address today, Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said these measures were contained in the Plan Jana Semula Ekonomi Negara or "Penjana" for short, which will involve RM10 billion in direct fiscal injection.

Meanwhile, former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he does not have any problem with PKR president Anwar Ibrahim but added he does not know if the feeling is mutual.

Yesterday, Anwar and PKR were again absent from a meeting between Mahathir, Warisan, and Pakatan Harapan yesterday.

Harapan, Mahathir and Warisan claim to be on the cusp of seizing back Putrajaya from Perikatan Nasional but it is believed that who will be prime minister - Mahathir or Anwar - continues to be a sticky point.
