The government will table its anti-fake news bill in Parliament this week, after the cabinet approved the bill on March 21.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Azalina Othman Said said the bill sends a clear message that the government will not compromise on any matter that could threaten public order and national security.
She also said the government hoped that all quarters would accept the bill and not launch polemics.
