KL Tower BASE Jump 2017

Men Fall From KL Tower ! 
Ever wondered how it feels jumping from a tower 300 meters high? It takes lots of guts indeed ! But a dedicated group of extreme sports participants have been doing it from the top of KL Tower for 17 years since 1999 ! This Malaysian Book of Records feat has become the annual International KL Tower BASE Jump. BASE is an acronym for "building, antenna, span, earth", stating the places where this extreme jump is performed. This year's jumpers were selected from an application of 300 base jumpers from 22 countries, but only 110 were chosen. The event was on Sept 29 till 3 October and consisted of day and night jumps. This video at ground level captures the daredevils performing their stunts. Once they jump their faith is in their hands and the elements amidst cross-winds and the concrete jungle below. For those who have not garnered the strength to jump yet the event also allows people to seat at the fringe of the tower in the open to experience the sheer scream-induced fear factor 300 meters  up at the KL Tower.
