The Centre to Combat Corruption and Cronyism (C4) swing by our office this morning to give us a sneak preview of their latest creation - Kleptopoly.
Kleptopoly is an effort by C4 to educate the public on the 1MDB saga with a particular focus on the recent suits filed by the United States Department of Justice to sieze properties allegedly purchased using funds siphoned from the state-owned investment arm.
The goal of the game is to emerge as the richest player who is the least corrupt. While it borrows most of its rules from the Parker Brothers' game Monopoly, Kleptopoly's message is that there is nothing wrong with being rich as long as you don't turn to corruption.
