It seems like the original Frozen movie came out like 5 minutes ago, but it was actually 5 YEARS AGO. Hold on to your icicles because Kristen Bell stopped by The Ellen Show on Thursday to give an update on the Frozen sequel. While she didn’t say much, it was enough to send a snow storm through the internet. Watch Kristen reveal a massive update on the status of Frozen 2.
If Kristen has wrapped on filming her part for Frozen 2, then the flick is a lot further along than we thought. And knowing that Kristen is well-informed on the movie confirms that we’ll see Princess Anna play a large role in the plot.
We also know that Idina Menzel will be returning to voice Elsa, as is Josh Gad as Olaf and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff. Rest assured the sequel is in good hands, with the same directors and songwriters as the first movie. One of the writers recently spoke to The Huffington Post on whether Elsa would be getting a girlfriend in the next film. Jennifer Lee revealed QUOTE: “For me… Elsa’s every day telling me where she needs to go, and she’ll continue to tell us. I always write from character-out.” Sounds like nothing is off the table yet.
If you didn’t know, Frozen 2 is set to be released November 27th 2019. And suddenly that feels very, very far away. But if you need your fix before then, the Frozen MUSICAL just opened up on Broadway in NYC. So what do you think about Kristen’s big Frozen bombshell? And what are your plot predictions for the sequel? Get to typing in the comments below. After that, check out Disneyland’s new millennial pink merch right here! As always, I’m Drew Dorsey, thanks for tuning in.
